Our chiropractors have years of experience working with our signature Spinal Decompression machine.
The Machine consists of:
*A full length table
* A vertical cabinet for storage and housing the traction motor
* Decompression motor
* Lumbar harness
* Neck cradle
* Bolster for leg support
Spinal Decompression, not to be confused with traction, gently lengthens and decompresses the spine, creating negative pressures within the discs. This reversal of the pressure creates an intradiscal vacuum that not only takes of the pressure off pinched nerves but helps to reposition bulging discs. It pulls extruded disc material back into place. Spinal experts believe that nutrients, oxygen and fluids are drawn into the disc to create a revitalized environment conducive to healing.
The patient is strapped in a harness and will lie flat on the treatment table.
The Pulling cord is then hooked onto the harness and a bolster is placed underneath the patients knees for comfort.
After setting the timer the machine is started. The machine will pull the with the cord onto the harness until the set amount of pounds is reached. It will pause in this setting for 45 seconds before slowly decreasing the pull to zero. The zero phase, or pause, is normally 15 seconds before the next pull cycle begins.
A gentle audio warning will sound when the session time is up.
These sessions should preferably occur in consecutive days in order to make the treatment most effective.
A full demonstration and training is provided when your machine is installed.
The neck cradle is attached to the pull cord. The paint will now lie back on the table with the patients neck in the cradle. The cradle is adjustable for patient comfort.
The cradle is equipped with a strap that wraps around the forehead to keep the neck stable during the session.
A full demonstration and training is provided when your machine is installed.
